Gas line ruptured on Warren-Sharon Road in Vienna

VIENNA

An evacuation of two businesses began at about 1:04 p.m. today on Warren-Sharon Road just east of state Route 193 after workers ruptured a gas line.

Evacuations took place at the Dollar General and Certified gas station, according to the Trumbull County 911 dispatch center.

Dominion East Ohio Gas workers have been at the scene since about 1:30 p.m., Trumbull 911 said.

The shut-off of service will affect 15 customers until sometime this evening, when the repair work is finished, said Neil Durbin, Dominion spokesman.
