Fire destroys vacant East Side house

YOUNGSTOWN — A fire destroyed a vacant home at 1112 N. Charlotte Ave. on the East Side early Sunday morning, reports said.

Crews called to the home about 4:30 a.m. found the home fully engulfed and the roof and part of the second floor already burned down.

Reports said the home was also the scene of an arson in November, and there were also two abandoned boats on the side of the home.

Damage is listed at $4,500. There were no injuries.
