Youngstown native offers book, tune

Youngstown native, author and speaker Gregory S. Trent Sr. has partnered with Ohio-based award winning contemporary jazz-funk ensemble SounDoctrine to promote the releases of their recent works, both titled “Selah.”

Trent’s book, which includes the subtitle, “Things My Dad Said That Made Me Rich” aids the reader in the art of introspection and self-improvement.

The book is available through Amazon.com and as a Kindle eBook.

SounDoctrine’s R&B/Latin-flavored composition was released as a digital single last month through iTunes and the band’s website.

The March promotion features the purchase of the book “Selah” at a specially discounted price of $9.99 with a free download of the song. The customer is then entered into a drawing to win a Free 7” Android touch screen tablet.
