Niles church accepts Smart Choice Food orders

New Hope United Methodist Church, 21 Fairview Ave., is accepting orders for Smart Choice Food at the church with cash, check, money order or Ohio Direction Card from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, 4 to 5 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to noon March 16.

Orders also will be taken at Niles Community Services, 401 Vienna Ave., from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. March 16.

Box choices range in price from $25 to $40 and include meat and vegetables, convenience meals, Easter dinner box, sirloin steak box, breakfast box and a New York strip box.

There is a special 2-pound ranch sirloin steak box available for $19 with the purchase of any other box. There are no income restrictions or guidelines.

Online specials at www.smartchoicefood.com can be ordered on the website or at the church. Mail-in orders will be accepted with payment by postal or bank money order or certified check to New Hope Church.

Payment and mail-in orders must be received by Friday. Online ordering will close at midnight March 22. A 3 percent handling fee will be added to all online orders.

Distribution is scheduled for 9 to 10 a.m. March 28. A community breakfast will be served the same day from 9 to 10:30 a.m.
