Mahoning County will soon have 1,897 hotel rooms available, with a total of 180 new rooms being added by the Courtyard by Marriott in Canfield and the Holiday Inn Express in Salem. That is an 11-percent increase in rooms available in Mahoning County this year. Also, a 120-bed DoubleTree Hotel, restaurant and conference/banquet facility was announced for downtown Youngstown with a projected opening date of June 2016.

Trumbull County has approximately 1,500 rooms available, with a total of 186 new rooms being added including a Comfort Inn and Suites on Belmont Avenue and the Hampton Inn & Suites in Niles. That is a 12 percent increase in rooms soon to be available in Trumbull County.
