Submit info for Holy Week, Easter
The Vindicator will run a listing of area services that are open to the public in observance of Palm Sunday, March 29; Holy Thursday, April 2; Good Friday, April 3; Holy Saturday, April 4; and Easter, April 5.
The deadline to submit information is 5 p.m. March 25. Publication will be March 28.
Information should include the denomination and name of the church, address, city or suburb, the day, time, type of service, your name and a phone number for verification.

Gospel of Mark
CANFIELD
Dr. Allan Mosher, professor at the Dana School of Music at Youngstown State University, will recite the Gospel of Mark on two Sundays during Lent at Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road (Route 62).
On March 15, he will recite the first half of the Gospel of Mark and March 29, Palm Sunday, he will recite the second half of the Gospel of Mark.
Both events will begin at 6 p.m. in the church sanctuary.
After the presentations, there will be refreshments in the fellowship hall.
Program planned by Pacesetters
WARREN
Preacher Michael Vance, who ministers in music through song and playing the keyboard, will be featured in a program planned by Pacesetters Outreach Ministry at noon next Saturday at the YWCA of Warren, 375 N. Park Ave.
There is a fee of $5; children are free.

Concert series

Calvary Bible Church, 2878 Warren Meadville Road, just off Route 5 (Elm Road) will begin its eighth year of its concert series.
The Gospel Echoes will perform at 6 p.m. Sunday.
They have recorded four albums and travel throughout four states delivering harmonies.
Lenten mission
YOUNGSTOWN
Our Lady of Mount Camel Basilica, 343 Via Mount Carmel, will host a Lenten mission with Deacon Ralph Poyo at 7 p.m. Sunday through Tuesday.
The theme is “Christ is Risen, Do You Believe?”
The event is open to the public. A free-will offering will be taken.

Biblical storytelling
YOUNGSTOWN
Biblical storytelling for lay and ordained ministers will be the program from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. March 20 at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 323 Wick Ave.
Presenters will be the Rev. Stacy Alan and John Poole.
A $10 donation is requested.

Friar Johnpaul Cafiero will speak on “Preparing for Easter Peace: Reflections on the Peace Prayer” during three sessions, all starting at 7 p.m., at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 7345 Westview Drive.
Programs will be March 15, “Instruments of Peace;” March 16, “O Divine Master - Image of God;” and March 17, “Conversion: In Giving We Receive.”
