SALEM

Daniel and Beverly Berger of Salem are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Rebecca Berger of Northfield, Ohio, and Isaac Standley of Canfield, son of Debra Mayles and Donnie Standley, both of Glouster, Ohio.

The couple have planned their wedding for 4:30 p.m. Aug. 8 at the Links at Firestone Farms in Columbiana, which also is where the reception will take place. Invitations will be issued.

The bride-elect graduated from Case Western Reserve University with a degree in communication sciences. She attends Ohio University and is a candidate to graduate in May with a doctorate in audiology. She is employed by University Hospitals in Cleveland as an audiology doctor extern.

The prospective groom earned a degree in sports management from Union Institute and University. He is an agency owner for Allstate Insurance in Boardman.
