Derek Kopanic scored 19 points and Dillon O’Hara hit two free throws with a few seconds left to lead the Eagles in the upset. “This is one of my top victories in my 10 years,” said Hubbard head coach Rick Fox. “I told the kids afterwards, we shocked Youngstown tonight.” Fox said the key to the win was the Eagles’ use of a 2-3 zone. “We saw how they played on film,” Fox said. We knew we had to limit their second chances. “It’s a huge win for us. The kids did a great job tonight.”

Lisbon 104, Campbell 71

LISBON

Austin Rutecki scored 31 points and Josh Craig added 20 for the Blue Devils (19-5). George Billiris scored 16 points and Aaron Jackson added 14 to lead the Red Devils.

Canton Central Catholic 85, Crestview 23

CANTON

Jerry Leatherman scored 18 points and the Crusaders used a 33-4 first quarter to pull away. Jacob Wick had seven points to lead the Rebels.

DIVISION IV

McDonald 74, Sebring 48

MCDONALD

Jake Reckard scored 22 points to lead the Blue Devils. Anthony Pugh and Brad Woodley each scored 20 points. McDonald advances to the district semifinal at Struthers Fieldhouse and will play Lowellville on Monday. For the Trojans, Aaron Weingart led with 11 points.

Lowellville 63, Wellsville 57

LOWELLVILLE

Cole Beatty scored 18 points and made 15 rebounds and six blocks to power the Rockets to the district semifinals at Struthers Fieldhouse. Paolo DePasquale scored 13 points while Tyler Barone and Alex Harklerode scored 10 apiece. Barone also made seven rebounds. For nteh Tigers, Justin Miller’s 34 point included eight 3-pointers. N. Spann scored 13 points.

Western Reserve 56,

Leetonia 50

BERLIN CENTER

Joe Falasca scored 13 points to lead the Blue Devils. Nolan Snyder scored 10 points and Wyatt Laymer nine. Western Reserve advances to the district semifinal at Struthers Fieldhouse and will play St. Thomas Aquinas on Tuesday. For the Bears, Trent Ferry scored 28 points and Drew Turney eight.

Warren JFK 87, Badger 36

WARREN

Nate Woods scored 18 points to lead the Eagles. Also scoring in double figures were Preston Caparanis with 13, Justin Bofenkamp with 12 and Isaac Carrino with 11. Warren JFK advances to play Bristol in a district semifinal game on Tuesday at Grand Valley High School. For the Braves, Daniel Shuttleworth scored 10 points and Garrett Kellogg nine.
