Bank robbery suspects indicted

YOUNGSTOWN

Suspects in two bank robberies this year were indicted by a Mahoning County grand jury Thursday.

G. Shannon J.R. McColor, 26, of Woodcrest Avenue, was indicted on a charge of aggravated robbery with a firearm specification in the Jan. 9 robbery of a Huntington Bank in Boardman.

He is also a suspect in other robberies throughout the area.

Also indicted by the grand jury was Jayquawn Manigault, 21, of East Avondale Avenue, on a charge of aggravated robbery with a firearm specification in the Feb. 24 robbery of a Chase Bank branch on Market Street. Manigault also faces an additional two counts of being a felon in possession of a firearm.

McColor is in custody. Police have been looking for Manigault since the robbery.

The grand jury also secretly indicted 18 people, 17 of them for failure to notify authorities of a change of address, as is required by certain people who are convicted of sex offenses. Their names will be made public when they are arrested.

The grand also indicted:

Anthony T. Howell, 40, Springdale Avenue, tampering with evidence, possession of cocaine and possession of drugs.

Fallon Barnett, 31, state Route 62, Damascus, and Nathan Steer, 28, state Route 62, Damascus, illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs and illegal manufacture of drugs.

Hale Burkholder, 54, East Wood Street, Lowellville, two counts of assault, domestic violence, obstructing official business and resisting arrest.

Stephen Rivers, 20, Boardman Boulevard, Boardman, theft and receiving stolen property.

Carlton Watson, 22, Terrace Street, Struthers, assault, obstructing official business and resisting arrest.

Hallie Whitman, 44, Sumer Road, East Rochester, possession of drugs.

Michael Tomko, 22, Mercedes Place, Canfield, possession of heroin, possession of drugs, driving while under the influence of alcohol and possession of marijuana.

Michael Fox, 23, Ridgelawn Avenue, improperly handling a firearm in a motor vehicle.

Richard Hickson, 39, West Dewey Avenue, trafficking in marijuana.

Lee Johnson III, 20, Parkview Avenue, arson.

Robert Porada, 39, Carbon Hill Drive, East Palestine, possession of heroin, illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of drug- abuse instruments.

Jacob Mumford, 23, Maitland Avenue, New Castle, Pa., two counts of possession of drugs, two counts of driving while under the influence of alcohol and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia.

Lennie McGeachy, Jr., 21, Woodhurst Boulevard, Austintown, and Deion Pugh, 20, Edgewater Drive, Austintown, burglary and theft.

Kenneth Lee Carter, 24, North Dunlap Avenue, aggravated robbery with a firearm specification.

Devante Scott, 20, Hilton Avenue, improperly discharging a firearm at or into a habitation and four counts of felonious assault with firearm specifications.

Michael Bond, 28, Griselda Avenue, failure to notify of change of address.
