Theater group to award scholarship

YOUNGSTOWN

The Youngstown Area Community Theater Alliance will award its inaugural annual scholarship for the 2015-16 school year.

The scholarship will be awarded to an individual who exhibited leadership in community theater by volunteering 150 hours or more within the previous two years.

Volunteer hours include working cast or crew on any show, including rehearsal time, or volunteering at a Community theater in Youngstown, affiliated with the Youngstown Area Community Theatre Alliance.

Applications are available through area high-school guidance offices, or may be sent via email by contacting yacta.help@gmail.com.

The deadline to apply is April 25.
