Gabby Kline scored 17 points and the Tigers (20-4) overcame a five-point halftime margin to beat the Mustangs. This is the first 20-win season in program history. Alexis Cassesa scored nine points to lead the Mustangs. Newton Falls will meet Garrettsville Garfield in a district final at 1 p.m. Saturday at Ravenna High School.

Jessica Isler’s 23 points included 18 free throws to lead the Bombers over the Vikings in a district semifinal at Grand Valley High School. Windham will meet Cuyahoga Heights in a district final at 4 p.m. on Saturday at GV. Lexi Knight scored 15 points and Brittany Knight 13 for the Bombers. VASJ’s Mariah McGhee and Angelina Goosby each scored 10 points.
Cuyahoga Heights 45, Maplewood 24

Ariel Rebello and Lauren Goetz powered Cuyahoga Heights with 15 and 14 points, respectively, in a district semifinal victory at Grand Valley High School. Ryley Urchek led the Rockets with 10 points.
BOYS BASKETBALL
Howland 67, Cleveland JFK 61
CLEVELAND
Julian Lanier scored 34 points and the Tigers used a 24-16 second quarter to pull away. Montee Day had 15 points for the Fighting Eagles. Howland will visit Garfield Heights in a sectional final on Saturday.
Stow-Munroe Falls 48, Fitch 43

T.J. Lawson scored 12 points to lead the Bulldogs. The Bulldogs held the Falcons to just eight points in the first half. Scott Duffy had 12 points and Anthony Pangio added eight for the Falcons. Stow-Munroe Falls will host Canton GlenOak in a sectional final Saturday.
Uniontown Lake 75, Boardman 51
UNIONTOWN
Jack Lostoski scored 26 points and Chandler Vaudrin added 16 for the Blue Streaks. Brian Fryda had 18 points and John Ryan added 10 for the Spartans (9-14). Lake will host Cuyahoga Falls in a sectional final Saturday.
Massillon Jackson 89, East 46
MASSILLON
The top-seeded Polar Bears eliminated the Panthers. No other details were reported. Jackson moves on to a sectional final Saturday against Lodi Cloverleaf.
