Suspect arraigned
GIRARD
Larry Patterson, 68, of Euclid Boulevard in Liberty, was arraigned Tuesday in Girard Municipal Court on a felonious assault charge. He is accused of stabbing a 29-year-old woman in the abdomen at his home Tuesday morning.
The woman called 911 at 6:48 a.m. Police found her in the home bleeding from at least one stab or puncture wound. She was taken to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.
The woman identified Patterson as her attacker. Patterson surrendered to police later Tuesday and was placed in the Trumbull County Jail, where he remains in lieu of $250,000 bond.
Hearing continued

A preliminary hearing in an aggravated robbery case in Mahoning County Area Court here has been continued to Thursday.
The case involves G. Shannon McColor, 26, of Youngstown, who police say robbed a Huntington Bank location Jan. 9.
McColor appeared in court Tuesday for the scheduled hearing, but Judge Joseph Houser granted the prosecutor’s request for a continuance. He is scheduled to appear in Mahoning County Area Court in Austintown today on another first-degree felony aggravated-robbery charge. He is in the Mahoning County jail.
Missing teen found

A city teenager who was the subject of a search involving local, state and national organizations could face charges after she was located on the West Side, according to 21 WFMJ-TV, The Vindicator’s broadcast partner.
According to a news release from the Youngstown Police Department, authorities found 17-year-old Tereyjah Green on Eddie Street shortly before 1 p.m. Tuesday.
Police say she had been the subject of a search involving their department, the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children since Sunday night when her mother reported the teen had run away from their Hazelwood Avenue home.
Police said her family had been notified via text messages that the teen may have come to extreme harm. Police placed Green in the custody of the Martin P. Joyce Juvenile Justice Center for a probation violation.
