Gun, $3,000 in cash taken from Guss Street home

YOUNGSTOWN — A .45-caliber handgun and $3,000 in change was taken Tuesday from a home in the 2800 block of Guss Street.

Reports said the home owner told police he left at 4:50 a. and when he returned at 5 p.m. he found his front door open and the glass broken out of the window.

The magazine with the gun was empty, reports said.
