Boar’s Head Ladies of St. John’s Episcopal Church, 323 Wick Ave., Youngstown, will serve a chicken dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church. The meal consists of chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, salad, bread and butter, pie and a beverage. A lemon-butter baked fish with macaroni and cheese option has been added to the menu for Lent. The cost is $7.50. No reservations are necessary. Canfield Christian Church, 123 S. Broad St., Canfield, will host a Lenten breakfast. The free meal is set for 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. each Wednesday during Lent. Donations will be accepted.
Holy Family Parish, 2729 Center Road in Poland, is selling cavatelli dinners from 3 to 6:30 p.m. today. Homemade sauce on top of fresh pasta with two meatballs, salad, bread and butter and two cookies costs $9. A smaller portion of cavatelli and one meatball is $5. The church will also have homemade pasta fagioli for $6 a quart and pasta sauce for $5 a quart. Holy Family is offering curbside service for the sale. Place your order, remain in your car, and it will be brought out to you.
Martin Luther Lutheran Church, 420 Clearmount Drive, Youngstown, will offer Lenten service opportunities Wednesdays at 12:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Church women will provide a light lunch of soup, bread, beverage and dessert after the 12:30 p.m. Wednesday services. A free will offering will be taken. Takeout is available for $6 per quart of soup. Today the soup is wedding.
THURSDAY
Poland United Methodist Church, 1940 Boardman-Poland Road, Poland, will serve homemade dinners to go. Starting at 3:30 until the drive-through runs out, baked stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes and green beans will sell for $6.
Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road, Canfield, is having a drive-through chicken dinner from 4 p.m. until sold out. The cost is $8 each and features stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans and a brownie.
FRIDAY
American Legion Post 737, 16465 Milton Ave., Lake Milton, will serve fish dinners from 3 to 7 p.m. or until sold out Fridays through April 3. Meals are priced at $9.50. Chicken and shrimp dinners are available for $8.50, and fish sandwiches are $6.50. All meals include french fries, coleslaw, a roll and a beverage.
Canfield Lions Club will have a fish fry from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at A La Cart Catering, 429 Lisbon St., Canfield. Meals include a choice of baked or fried fish; french fries, macaroni and cheese, pirogi or haluski; and coleslaw, green beans, roll, dessert and beverage. The cost is $11.
Christ the Good Shepherd at St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell, will sell potato, prune and kraut pirogi. The cost is $6 a dozen. Girard Knights of Columbus Council 2935 will sponsor Lenten fish dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday and March 13 and 27. On the menu are a choice of fried or baked haddock or fried shrimp, two sides of either haluski, pirogi, french fries or green beans, bread, coffee and dessert. St. Nicholas Mom’s and Dad’s Club will have a fish fry every Friday during Lent from 4 to 7 p.m. in the St. Nicholas Great Hall, 766 Fifth St., Struthers. Choose baked or fried haddock with macaroni and cheese, french fries or homemade haluski. The meal is $10 for adults, $6 for children 6 to 12 and free for kids 5 and under. Takeouts are available.

Burton-Middlefield Rotary will serve pancake breakfasts every Sunday in March from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Berkshire High School, 14510 N. Cheshire St. in Burton. The cost is $8 for adults and $5 for children 4 to 10. Omelets will be available for purchase. Proceeds will be divided between the community and the fight against polio.

Struthers Band Boosters will host a dinner for purchasing new school instruments, music, marching band uniforms and equipment.
