Woman arraigned
HUBBARD
Aleshia M. Graham, 28, of Jerry Drive was released on $15,000 bond after her arraignment Monday on charges of felonious assault, domestic violence and using a weapon while intoxicated. She is accused of pointing a gun at her boyfriend at their home early Sunday.
Hubbard police said her boyfriend reported he checked Graham’s phone after arriving home, then confronted her about things he found on the phone. This led to Graham’s getting a gun out of a drawer and pointing it at him and demanding her phone back. She hit him in the back of the head with the gun when he turned and walked away from her, he told police. She denied hitting him.
Graham pleaded not guilty in Girard Municipal Court.

Snow-shoveler robs potential customer
WARREN
As if it were not challenging enough getting through this winter, a thief in Warren has sunk to a new low — an armed robbery by snow shoveler.
A 46-year-old Kenmore Avenue Southeast man reported he was robbed at gunpoint at 3:55 p.m. Sunday by a man who first approached him about shoveling his driveway for money.
When the man said no, the approximately 30-year-old black male wearing a Carhartt-type coat with a rip on the side replied: “If you’re not going to let me shovel your driveway, give me your money.”
The would-be shoveler lifted one side of his jacket, revealing a handgun in the waistband of his pants.
The suspect got the cash from the homeowner and fled by getting in the passenger side of an older silver Chevrolet minivan that was parked in the driveway. A white male was driving.
