United Community Financial Corp. promotes Esson

YOUNGSTOWN

United Community Financial Corp., holding company of The Home Savings and Loan Company of Youngstown, Ohio, today promoted Timothy W. Esson to chief financial officer of UCFC and executive vice president of Home Savings.

Esson has been with Home Savings since May 2003.

Most recently, he was appointed principal accounting officer and treasurer of UCFC in April 2014.

Esson served as the senior vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer of Home Savings since March 2011. Prior to that time, Esson was vice president of finance of Home Savings.

As a wholly-owned subsidiary of UCFC Home Savings operates 32 full-service banking offices and nine loan production offices located throughout Ohio and western Pennsylvania.
