YWCA will honor young women with bright futures at banquet

YWCA’s Young Women with Bright Futures Awards Banquet is scheduled for 10 a.m. March 21 at the Holiday Inn of Boardman, 7410 South Ave.

The award recognizes young women in their senior year of high school who have shown a commitment to serving their schools, communities and families.

This year’s keynote speaker will be Becky Dearing Wall, vice president and treasurer of Dearing Compressor and Pump Co.

The cost to attend the banquet is $17; honorees are complimentary. The deadline for reservations is March 12. For online registration with a $2 fee, visit www.ywca.org.
