Police search for suspect in Sharon, Pa., slaying

SHARON, pa

Sharon police are searching for a suspect in a Saturday morning slaying, Vindicator broadcast partner 21 WFMJ-TV reports.

A man was found shot to death in the 300 block of Quinby Street about 2:30 a.m.

Police have obtained an arrest warrant for 31-year-old Michael Bagnall on a charge of criminal homicide.

Chief Gerald Smith has announced the victim as Jaylen West, 23, whose last known address was on Spearman Avenue in Farrell, Pa.. An autopsy will be performed.

Sharon police say Bagnall is considered armed and dangerous. Forces from the Pennsylvania State Patrol, Southwest Regional Police Department, Hermitage Police Department and Pennsylvania State Probation and Parole are searching for him. Some locations in Farrell were checked, as well as a hotel in Hermitage, Pa.
