LEADERSHIP

The Board of Directors for the Hope Center for Arts & Technology in Sharon, Pa., selected Tom Roberts as its executive director. The Hope Center is a replication of the Pittsburgh-based Manchester Bidwell Corp.’s model of job training and an arts-based youth development program. MBC has a 47-year-old track record as an economic and community development driver in southwestern Pennsylvania.

ACCOUNTING

J.P. Marsh & Co., a local certified public accounting firm that specializes in construction and manufacturing, announces the addition of Craig Herlihy as a CPA. The new Hubbard resident recently relocated to the area from Washington, D.C., where he was a specialist with Deloitte and Touche LLP.

HEALTH

Dr. Rodney E. Hill, gynecologist and owner of Associates in Women’s Health of the Mahoning Valley Inc., 1350 Fifth Ave., Youngstown, will participate in the inaugural Ohio Commission on Minority Health Medical Expert Panel Series. Dr. Hill is scheduled to meet via a weekly conference call with other invited panel members. The panel is to meet for a total of 20 hours during a nine-week period. The goal is to influence state policy by providing solutions and recommendations that improve health equity and outcomes in Ohio. Dr. Hill will bring his expertise as an obstetrician/gynecologist to the topic of infant mortality rate among black babies in Ohio.
