Preserving the past will be program topic

“Keeping Your Family’s Past” will be the topic of a program presented by Pamela L. Speis, archivist at Mahoning Valley Historical Society, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. July 22 at Salem Public Library’s Quaker Room, 821 E. State St.

The presentation will provide discussion and advice on the proper care and preservation of photos and other items that make up a family’s history.
