Flower show winners announced

YOUNGSTOWN

The Garden Forum of Greater Youngstown Area Inc. announces its Blue Ribbon winners of the June 20 and 21 flower show, which took place at the Davis Center in Fellows Riverside Gardens, Mill Creek Park.

In design, first-place winners are Sheila Bowman of Nature Lovers and Mary Lou Flere of Gleaners.

In horticulture, first-place winners are Peggy Potts of Johnny Appleseed (10 ribbons), Bowman (seven ribbons), Rosemary Fuller of Nature Lovers (five ribbons), Cindy Salerno of Nature Lovers ( (3 ribbons), Millie Campean of Gleaners (three ribbons), Flere (three ribbons) and Beverly Italiano of Gleaners (one ribbon).

The Best of Show winner is Salerno.
