Youngstown YWCA offers summer camps

YOUNGSTOWN

Registration is open for summer camps offered by the YWCA of Youngstown, 25 W. Rayen Ave.

Camp Empower, a summer care camp for children 6 to 12 years old, is offered from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday through Aug. 28. Daily and weekly rates are available.

Summer STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) mini-camps are offered for children in grades four to six.

One-week and one-day programs are available.

Upcoming themes and times are Stop Motion, 10 a.m. to noon July 13 through 17; Young Artists, 9:30 a.m. to noon Aug. 10; RAD KIDS self-defense for preschool and school age children, Aug. 17 through 21; and STOP! Hip Hop, dates and times to be announced.
