Ox Roast festival, flea market returns
MESOPOTAMIA
The 42nd annual Mesopotamia Ox Roast, Antiques & Flea Market will take place from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Sunday, at the intersection of state Routes 534 and 87.
The event will feature more than 160 dealers, live entertainment, roast- beef sandwiches, fries and beverages.
The entertainment lineup will include the Chardon Polka Band, bagpiper Stephen Holter, Jungle Terry, Take II, Drake Hollow, Rockn’ Country Cloggers, 2 Men & a Campfire, Fort Huntsburg Band, John Miller Family, and Erie Heights Brass Ensemble.
There will be a pancake breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. each day. Admission is free, and free parking is available at the fire station. Alcoholic beverages and fireworks are prohibited. For information, go to mespofire.com.
Heritage Days
GREENVILLE, PA.
Greenville Heritage Days return this weekend. The festival in Riverside Park opens at 4 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday.
Highlights include fireworks at 10 p.m. Friday; Saturday will bring a car show in the downtown, and World War II and Civil War re-enactors, with a WWII battle re-enactment at 3 p.m.
