Church schedules picnic fundraiser

VIENNA

Holy Apostles Parish of Youngstown will host its fourth annual parish fundraiser picnic at noon July 12 at Strossmayer Croatian Center, 4202 Smith-Stewart Road. The picnic will follow 10:30 a.m. Mass at the center.

From noon to 2 p.m. Happy Hearts Junior Tamburitzans will perform, and there will be Hungarian entertainment. The Mickey Dee Polka Band of Pittsburgh will perform at 2. Lamb, pork, picnic foods, desserts and beverages will be available.

Raffles will include $2,000 in cash prizes, a 50-50 raffle, a basket auction and a lottery wreath. Kids games and lawn games will be played. Admission is $5 and free for children under 12 years old.
