Thomas-Doran engagement is announced

The parents of Brianne Marie Thomas of Poland and Francesco Paul Doran of Neshannock, Pa., are announcing the couple’s engagement and plans for their summer wedding. She is the daughter of Ed and Laurie Thomas of Poland, and he is the son of Annette Doran of Neshannock.

The couple will exchange vows during a 4 p.m. ceremony Aug. 14 at Holy Family Church in Poland. Invitations are being extended for the ceremony and for a reception at the Lake Club, also in Poland.

The bride-elect graduated from Mercyhurst University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing.

She is employed by Mercy Health, Youngstown, as a registered nurse.

The prospective groom graduated from Clarion University with a degree in finance.

He works for First National Bank of Sharon, Pa.
