A list of known event cancellations or other changes in the area today due to forecasted heavy rains.

MAHONING COUNTY

Boardman: A concert by The U.S. Army Field Band at Boardman Park today has been moved inside to the Boardman High School Performing Arts Center, 7777 Glenwood Ave. The concert is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. The fireworks planned to accompany the park event are canceled and rescheduled for July 10 after an Air Force Band of Flight concert at the park.

Youngstown: A “Movie In Lynn Park” event, organized by the Brownlee Woods Neighborhood Association, has been canceled and rescheduled for Aug. 8.

Youngstown: Slide the City Youngstown has been canceled. Participants should expect an email from Slide the City with instructions for refunds. Slide coordinators and Youngstown leadership are working to find a date to reschedule. All participants, however, are urged to pursue a refund until the new date is chosen. Warren: A concert with Escape, a Journey tribute, the Full Moon All-Star Band and Sam and Gary at the Warren Community Amphitheater has been canceled. It is rescheduled for Aug. 28. Any tickets purchased for the original show will be honored Aug. 28. For information, go to riverrockattheamp.com.
