Amphitheater show is moved to August

Saturday’s concert by Escape: the Journey Tribute, plus Full Moon All-Star Band and Sam & Gary, at the Warren Community Amphitheater has been rescheduled because of the rainy forecast. Operatic duo to sing at church

Soprano Amanda Austin and baritone Justin Michael Austin will perform during an afternoon of operatic arias and duets in a program planned at 2 p.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church, 3300 Canfield Road. The Austins, who are newlyweds, graduated from the Manhattan School of Music in New York and were students of opera singer Catherine Malfitano. The duo will perform this summer at churches and theaters throughout the United States in support of mission work. Amanda Austin is a granddaughter of Ronald and Beverly Grafton, Zion members.

‘Saved by Bell’ actor is sentenced to jail

PORT WASHINGTON, Wis.

A judge has sentenced TV actor Dustin Diamond to four months in jail for a barroom stabbing. Judge Paul Malloy on Thursday ordered Diamond to report to jail Sunday. Diamond was convicted earlier this month on two misdemeanor counts that stemmed from a Christmas Day barroom fight. Diamond, 38, is best known for his role as Screech on TV comedy “Saved by the Bell.”
