Miss Matasic, Mr. Beatty will marry

Kim Matasic and Raymond Beatty, both of Poland, are engaged. Her parents are Lucille Matasic of Poland and the late James Matasic. His parents are Russell and Tammy Beatty of Poland.

The couple will marry at 1:30 p.m. June 27 at Christ Our Saviour Church in Struthers, and a reception will follow at the Embassy. Invitations will be issued for both events.

Miss Matasic received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Youngstown State University and works for Akron Children’s Hospital. She has been a police officer in Mahoning County since 2005.

Mr. Beatty graduated from Wyotech-Ormond Beach, Fla. He is an assistant supervisor for Poland Township Road Department.
