Aviator Frank Easton will be program topic

The Salem Historical Society will welcome pioneer airman Frank Easton for a free program at 2 p.m. Saturday in the meeting room of the Dale Shaffer Library, 239 S. Lundy Ave. Parking is available in the city municipal lot.

Scale models, photographs, magazine articles and documents about Easton’s aircraft, the “Flying Flea,” will be displayed. The program also will celebrate Easton’s 100th birthday. The aviator is a longtime resident of Sevakeen Lake in Salem.
