BREAKING NEWS | Frankie Hudson Jr. found not guilty in 2011 homicide

YOUNGSTOWN — It took jurors in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court less than two hours this afternoon to find Frankie Hudson Jr., 22, not guilty of all charges, including aggravated murder, for the September 2011 shooting death of Josh Davis on Willis Avenue.

Visiting Judge Paul Mitrovich is now trying to decide if Hudson is guilty of being a felon in possession of a firearm. Both sides have agreed to allow him to decide that charge.

Another man, Lamar Reese, was convicted of Davis' death and sentenced to life in prison.
