The emojis message on the new Cruze is fully decoded
DETROIT — Chevrolet says you are going to love the newly designed next-generation Cruze that will be built in Lordstown.
On Monday, the automaker sent out a press release written only in emojis, or expressive images, to describe the Cruze and today a decoder was sent to tell the details in pure English.
Here's what it says:
Design: Athletic build, stylish and good looking
Technology: 7 connected devices with available 4G LTE Wi-Fi. Cool! First in its class to offer compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Bluetooth compatible. Touch screen. Speakers/music.
Seating: Seats 5
Fuel efficiency: The 2015 Cruze offers an EPA-estimated 35 miles per gallon on the highway. The 2016 Cruze is expected to offer better fuel economy.
Safety: 10 air bags. Comes with OnStar standard for six months.
Available: Soon! Coming in Spring 2016.
Available: Globally
The Cruze will makes it debut tomorrow in Detroit. A Vindicator reporter and photographer are en route to Detroit.
"We had the idea that the new Cruze could change the world," a Chevrolet spokesperson said in advance of the unveiling.
