City man wounded in Monday night shooting

YOUNGSTOWN — Police reports said a 34-year-old man was wounded during a shooting at about 11:35 p.m. Monday in the 2900 block of Shirley Road.

Reports said the man's wife drove the victim to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital for treatment.

Four children ages 3 to 13 years old were in the home at the time the man was shot but they were not hurt.
