A 24-year-old woman from Northeast Ohio has been crowned Miss Ohio and will go on to compete for the Miss America title.

Sarah Hider of Wooster won the title Saturday night after earlier taking home the talent award.

Hider was making her third and final attempt at winning the crown.

She had competed twice in the Miss Ohio contest before taking a few years away from the competition.

The News Journal in Mansfield reports that she decided to enter one last time after watching last year’s Miss Ohio pageant finals with her mother.

The first runner-up was Lexi Richter, of New Bremen, and second runner-up was Karolina Ulasevich, of North Royalton. Third runner-up was Sarah Clapper, of Louisville.

Among those in the Top 10 finalists were Jenna DePizzo, 23, of Cortland, who entered as Miss Clayland.
