Counterfeit bills show up at St. Nicholas Church Festival

STRUTHERS — Police investigated reports of counterfeit money at the St. Nicholas Church Festival on Fifth Street around midnight on Saturday.

Festival workers turned over a counterfeit $1 bill and a counterfeit $20 bill to officers.

The workers could not identify who had paid with the counterfeit money, according to a police report.
