“Celebrity Family Feud” (8 p.m., ABC): Are you ready for “Celebrity Family Feud”? Host Steve Harvey gives us a new twist on the old game show as famous folks and their families compete against each other for charity.

“Poldark” (9 p.m., PBS): Nearly 40 years after “Poldark” became one of the earliest “Masterpiece” hits, a swashbuckling new version arrives. Aidan Turner plays the dashing squire Ross Poldark, and original star Robin Ellis appears as the Rev. Halse.

“True Detective” (9 p.m., HBO): Talk about a wildly difficult task: How do you deliver a fresh crime mystery that can live up to last year’s sensational saga? A new cast, which includes Colin Farrell, Vince Vaughn, Rachel McAdams and Taylor Kitsch, will give it a go as the setting shifts to Southern California. It’s there that a bizarre murder brings together three law-enforcement officers and a money-hungry mobster.

“The Last Ship” (9 p.m., TNT): Season 2 begins.

“BattleBots” (9 p.m., ABC): Two robots enter, one robot leaves in this competitive reboot.

“Ballers” (10 p.m., HBO): A retired NFL football hero schools current players in this new dramedy.

“The Brink” (10:30 P.M., HBO): Jack Black comes to television in “The Brink.” It’s a dark satire about a State Department minion who stumbles into a geopolitical crisis. Tim Robbins also stars in the show, which debuts right after the series premiere of “Ballers.”

MVHS sponsors history day camp

YOUNGSTOWN

“My Town, Your Town, Youngstown,” a summer day damp, lets students explore local history at its source.

The camp is sponsored by the Mahoning Valley Historical Society and features field trips to several historic sites and landmarks. It runs July 6 to 10 at the Tyler Mahoning Valley History Center, 325 W. Federal St., and focuses on Youngstown’s history and future.

Campers will visit Mill Creek Park, the Arms Family Museum, America Makes, WFMJ and other key sites in downtown Youngstown. Each day begins at 10 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m., but early drop-off and late pick-up is available. Fee is $100 ($90 for MVHS members).
