MERCER, PA.

The Mercer County Extension is sponsoring a Farm Safety Day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday at the Mercer County Extension office and 4-H park, 463 N. Perry Highway.

Walk With Me event

CLEVELAND

On July 11, Easter Seals Northeast Ohio is hosting its annual Walk With Me event at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo & RainForest.

Check-in time is 8 a.m., and the 5K walk begins at 9 a.m. For information, contact Melissa Kocher at 440-838-0990. The event includes a continental breakfast, a scavenger hunt, children’s activity area with face painting and a craft area and a picnic lunch.

The event is designed to raise awareness and give participants an opportunity to walk in the shoes of those living with disabilities.
