An outdoor worship service is planned at 10 a.m. June 28 at First Presbyterian Church of Hubbard, 22 Westview.
A free strawberry social will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Special music will be provided by “The 530 Collective.”

Youth chorus event
GIRARD
The American Heritage Youth Chorus from American Fork, Utah, will present “These Are The Days,” a musical program about America’s providential founding and the restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, at 7 p.m. June 28 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Youngstown Stake Center, 2205 Tibbetts Wick Road.
Admission is free, and the public is invited.
American Heritage School sponsors the chorus whose members are 8 to 18 years old. Director Rob Swenson and the chorus have toured extensively throughout the United States and will visit Washington, D.C., New York and other East Coast cities on its 2015 tour. The choir has performed with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir including the annual Christmas concert featuring Natalie Cole and David McCullough.
American Heritage Youth Chorus also has performed with other artists including Michael Ballam, Roger Hoffman and Lex de Azevedo.
First Friday Club

The Rev. Terence P. Curley of St. Thomas Aquinas Parish, Nahant, Mass., will be the featured speaker when the First Friday Club of Greater Youngstown meets July 2 at Antone’s Banquet Centre, 8578 Market St.
He is an author and a licensed mental health counselor with more than 20 years of experience ministering to the grieving.
His topic will be “Dealing With Loss.”

Men of Faith will meet for breakfast at 8 a.m. today at Das Dutch Has for Bob and Kate Moore’s Day.
Speaker will be Larry Kannal with music by Youth for a Purpose.
Special occasion
NILES
First Presbyterian Church of Niles, 4 Summit Ave., will celebrate baptism and confirmation at 10 a.m. Sunday with special music by the Chancel Choir accompanied by Garey Watson on trumpet. Choir director is Stephanie Bottiglieri with accompaniment provided by church organist Diane Yazvac.
Guest speaker will be the Rev. Dr. Nancy Kahaian.
Davidic Army
WARREN
The Davidic Army of God Ministry will present a worship service to celebrate “The Revival Fire of God’s Glory,” restoring the tabernacle of David, at the 11 a.m. service June 28 at Warren Church of God, 2609 Weir Road.
There will be praise, worship, Davidic dance, blowing of the shofars and a replica of the Ark of the Covenant.
The Rev. Marion Masters, director of the Davidic Army, will present the service.
Study group
YOUNGSTOWN
A study group led by Pastor William Simpson and apostle Donna Napolitan will meet at 1 p.m. June 27 at Denny’s Banquet Hall, Belmont Avenue.
The topic will be on the next prophetic sign.
