Olivia Governor and Jack McDonald, both of Canfield, are engaged and planning an August wedding.

She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Brian Governor of Canfield, and he is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth McDonald of Canfield.

The couple are planning a wedding for 3 p.m. Aug. 1 at the Old North Church and a reception to follow at Avion on the Water.

The bride-elect attends Youngstown State University and studies secondary science education.

She is employed at Camelot Lanes and Old North Church. She serves as a varsity soccer coach at Valley Christian School and as a Rock Wall employee at YSU.

The prospective groom completed a degree in exercise science/pre-physical therapy from Malone University.

He is employed by Fine Tune Fitness in Poland as a personal trainer.
