Astro Falcons 13, Southside Recycling 5

Marc DeGregorio got the win for Astro, allowing five runs (four earned) on five hits in four innings of work, while walking four and striking out only one. Carter Chinn pitched three shutout innings to record the save. Kyle Wills took the loss for Southside. Caleb Hill helped led the way for Astro with three hits including two doubles, three runs scored and one RBI. Travis James had three hits and three runs while Jimmy Kerrigan had two hits, two RBIs and two runs scored. Anthony Joseph had two hits, one RBI and a run while Jarrett Lyons hit a triple, scored a run and drove home another. TJ DeShields slugged two hits and drove home a run while Eric Ostrowski scored twice and drove home two more. For Southside, Ethan Davis ‘ two hits included a two-run double. Ian McGraw had two hits and one RBI while Patrick Burke added two hits and scored a run. Sterling Roberts drove in a run and scored once.

Rudzik Excavating 5, Millwood 3

Rudzik used a three-run fourth inning to power past Millwood. Mike Massucci picked up the win for Rudzik, allowing three runs (none earned) on six hits, while striking out four and walking two. Mike Boswell tossed two scoreless innings of relief to record the save. Justin Rentz took the loss for Millwood. Rentz went the distance, yielding five runs (only one earned) on nine hits while striking out two and walking only one. Peyton Pacella led the way for Rudzik with two hits, including a double, scoring twice and also driving home a run. Dan DiLoreto had two hits, an RBI and a run while Don Colucci contributed two hits and a run. Max McGee hit an RBI single. For Millwood, Aaron Williams led with two hits and a run scored. Tommy Cannon hit an RBI double and Vince Retort hit an RBI single.
