Pair accused of breaking into Williamson Elementary School

YOUNGSTOWN — Police took two people into custody about 2:30 a.m. today for breaking into Williamson Elementary School, 58 Williamson Ave.

George Ronnell Fort, 18, was booked into the Mahoning County jail on charges of breaking and entering and possession of criminal tools. A juvenile was also taken into custody as a John Doe because he refused to give police his name or any other information.

The juvenile was caught by police after a short foot chase where he was found hiding in some bushes.

Fort was found next to a window that was broken and there was also a hammer next to Fort that reports said was used to break the window.

Reports said the main office was ransacked and police found stickers and candy strewn across the floor.
