George-Peck engagement is announced

The parents of Linda George of Washington, D.C., and David Peck of Milton, Fla., are announcing the couple’s engagement and plans for a summer wedding.

She is the daughter of Daniel S. and Susan George of Drums, Pa., and he is the son of Lloyd and Vikki Peck of Poland.

The couple’s wedding is planned for 3 p.m. July 3 at Summerall Chapel, The Citadel, in Charleston, S.C. A reception will follow at The Creek Club at I’On in Mount Pleasant, S.C. Both are by invitation.

The bride-elect graduated from Saint Joseph’s University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She also earned a master’s degree in international science and technology policy from The George Washington University. She is employed as a project manager and financial analyst for Naval Sea Systems Command of the U.S. Navy in Washington.

The prospective groom graduated from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, with a bachelor’s degree in history. 1st Lt. Peck serves in the U.S. Marine Corps in Milton, Fla.
