CANFIELD

Canfield Lions Club met June 3 at A La Cart Catering for installation of officers and an awards ceremony.

First- and second-year directors and officers were installed. Officers for 2015-2016 are Mike Hoffman, president; Mary Ann Dzuracky, first vice president; Andy Dzuracky, second vice president; Ted Filmer, secretary; Rich Yager, treasurer; Frankie Brock, assistant treasurer; Marian Zickefoose, tail twister; David Martin, Lion tamer; and Pete Cannell, membership chairman.

Those who died and active duty charter members received awards. The Lion of the Year Award went to Marian Zickefoose for outstanding service, the Knights of the Blind Award went to Mike Clayton and Mike Hoffman for service in club eye-care projects, and the Melvin Jones Fellow Award went to Don Kwolek for dedicated humanitarian service.
