Boardman Schools to host community workshop June 26

BOARDMAN — Boardman Schools will host a workshop at 8:30 a.m. June 26 at Center Middle School on Market Street to discuss the district's future.

The workshop is the last of three, which district officials say are necessary after the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission found some school buildings need to be brought up to code.

The OFCC also recommended building consolidation due to enrollment numbers.

“Now that we have this information, we really want the community’s input on what the future looks like for Boardman Schools,” Superintendent Frank Lazzeri said in a news release.
