Youngstown man faces multiple charges related to impaired driving
BOARDMAN — A Youngstown man faces an impaired-driving charge after he reportedly got pulled over by township police after nearly striking a patrol car.
Lanny Tackett, 20, of Pine Hollow Drive, is charged with reckless operation, operating a vehicle while impaired, having a prohibited blood-alcohol content and possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle after he was arrested north of Midlothian Boulevard early Wednesday.
A police officer said Tackett nearly hit his car on Youngstown-Poland Road near Country Club Lane.
Tackett reportedly failed a field-sobriety test and had a BAC of .195. The legal intoxication limit in Ohio is .08.
