Cosmic driving range to visit Kennsington

CANFIELD

Kennsington Golf Club & Grille, 4171 Westford Place, will host the Cosmic Driving Range Tour this weekend. The club’s driving range will be turned into a unique glow-in-the-dark golf experience. The event, a first for the Valley, will be Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

The Cosmic Driving Range is a new and giant interactive game for people of all ages and skill levels that was unveiled at the First Tee of Augusta during 2015 Masters Week.

The glow-in-the-dark targets respond with light and sound, and the golf balls are charged LED balls that streak through the sky. The skills challenges allow groups to compete.

Each bay of the driving range is set up for a group party with unlimited glow balls, five chairs and a glow table and is reservable for one hour at a time between 8 and 11 p.m. ($7 to $9 per hour per person).
