Stephen Stohla is Youngstown schools interim superintendent

YOUNGSTOWN

The city school board chose the former superintendent of both Brookfield and Alliance schools as the interim superintendent.

Stephen Stohla will serve in the position for six months.

Board members, at a special meeting Wednesday, voted 6-0 with member Jackie Adair abstaining. The interviewed Stohla and Marva Kay Jones, former superintendent of Warrensville Heights, before making the selection.
