“America’s Got Talent” (8 p.m., NBC): Still debatable, but tonight the judges head outside the theater to watch “extreme” acts.

“Counting Cars” (9 p.m., History): A new season begins.

“Rizzoli & Isles” (9 p.m., TNT): A new season begins.

“Clipped” (10 p.m., TBS): This new, scripted comedy takes place in a barbershop. Sounds stylish!

“Proof” (10 p.m., TNT): Jennifer Beals stars in the new drama “Proof.” She plays a gifted surgeon hired by a terminally ill tech billionaire (Matthew Modine) to investigate near-death experiences and ghost sightings in an attempt to prove that life after death exists.

“Tyrant” (10 p.m., FX): Season 2 of “Tyrant” begins with Barry (Adam Rayner) sitting in prison, awaiting punishment for the failed coup against Jamal (Ashraf Barhom), while the latter struggles to decide whether or not to execute him.

Juried art exhibit seeks entries

NILES

Entries are being accepted until Sept. 9 for the Community Artworks Regional Art Exhibit, which will run Oct. 4 to Nov. 8 at Art Outreach Gallery in Eastwood Mall.

Artists residing within a 50-mile radius of Niles are eligible to enter the annual juried exhibit. Artists must be at least 18. Works in all media will be accepted.

A total of $650 in prize money will be awarded. Go to communityartworks.com for information.

The juror is Mary Ann Breisch, executive director at Valley Art Center in Chagrin Falls.

Sutliff Museum plans open house

WARREN

The Sutliff Museum will have an open house Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. to celebrate Independence Day. The Victorian parlor will be open and there will be an American flag activity for children and adults.

The parlor is decorated for the summer with furniture, paintings and memorabilia from the Sutliff family home, which was built in 1850 on High Street.

The home was maintained in Victorian style until the death of Phebe Temperance Sutliff in 1955.

The Sutliff Museum is on the second floor of the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library at 444 Mahoning Ave. Admission is free. Hours are 2 to 4 p.m.
