New Waterford man arrested after bringing gun to Southern Park Mall

BOARDMAN — A New Waterford man faces charges after repeated incidents at the Southern Park Mall, 7401 Market St.

Township police arrested Tyler Conkle, 24, Sunday after he reportedly took a pistol into the mall. Police discovered that Conkle had theft, aggravated menacing and aggravated trespass warrants related to previous incidents at Buffalo Wild Wings in the mall.

The issues arose, according to employees, after Conkle was terminated from his job at Buffalo Wild Wings after a May 17 incident.

Conkle reportedly came back to the restaurant May 29 and threatened employees. He reportedly had a gun on his person at the time.

Conkle was freed on bond pending a court appearance Tuesday.
