Miranda Russo and Phil Johnson were joined in marriage during a 1:30 p.m. ceremony May 2 at Trinity United Methodist Church, where the Rev. Jerry Kreuger officiated.
A reception followed at Drake’s Landing in Canfield. After a honeymoon in Jamaica, the couple reside in Canfield.
The bride is the daughter of John and Gina Russo of Austintown. The groom’s parents are Brad and Patty Harvey and Dr. Gary and Tammy Johnson of Shelby, Ohio.
The bride graduated from Youngstown State University with an associate degree in prekindergarten education. She is employed as a service adviser for Cerni Motor Sales Inc.
The groom graduated from Ohio University with a bachelor’s degree in engineering management and technology. He is attending Robert Morris University, working toward a master’s degree in engineering management. He is employed as a printed electronics and shipping manager for Cubbison Co.
The bride wore a strapless, corset-back gown of organza over satin. It featured a multilayered skirt accented with rhinestones at the dropped waist and a chapel-length train. She fashioned her veil from her mother’s wedding gown.
Honor attendants for the bride were her sister, Stephanie Russo, and Corinn Sanders.
Bridesmaids were Megan Brautigam, Krystina Shirey and Amanda Gonzalez. Junior bridesmaids were Angelle Russo, the bride’s niece, and Alexis Mohn, the groom’s niece. The attendants wore eggplant-colored gowns. Riley Palm, the groom’s niece, served as the flower girl.
The best man was Ryan Ward, and groomsmen were Joe Biglin, Mem Sanders and Nic Johnson and Kris Johnson, the groom’s brothers. Junior groomsmen were the groom’s nephews Braden Palm and Lucas Mohn. Camden Sanders served as the ring bearer.
