Girard police arrest Youngstown woman after traffic stop

GIRARD — Police arrested a 19-year-old Youngstown woman after a traffic stop Sunday afternoon.

Stephanie Douglas was pulled over at Churchill Road and North State Street for failing to wear a seat belt.

Police then discovered that Douglas had a bag of suspected marijuana in her purse and that the Trumbull County Sheriff's Department had a warrant for her arrest

for probation violation.

Trumbull County Sheriff's deputies took Douglas into custody.
